Resources
The PeerLINC Knowledge Hub offers a range of clinical and lab training materials, protocols, algorithms, implementation guides, case experiences, resources for civil society and TB affected communities, advocacy resources, evidence publications, and more.
Job Aids
Clear summaries of the most critical procedures, such as the algorithm of clinical evaluation, laboratory diagnostics, patient monitoring and evaluation, as well as dose modifications. Job aids are short instructions to be used in the daily job of a clinician or lab specialist managing persons with TB. Job aids offered provide examples of how WHO guidelines can be translated and operationalized in the local setting. These resources have been developed by the team of experts in the Philippines and can be adapted based on your country’s clinical recommendations and algorithms.
Training Materials
Materials on the clinical, laboratory and programmatic aspects of BPaL and BPaL/M implementation. These training materials are a comprehensive set of resources developed based on the most recent WHO guidelines and lessons learned from the early adopters of the 6 month DR-TB treatment, including the Philippines. Trainings also include presentations of some specific clinical cases coming from BPaL operational research. Training materials can be translated and modified based on your country needs with support of PeerLINC experts.
Tools
Tools developed based on the experiences ofmultiple BPaLM/BPaL early adopters, including resources that will be valuable to implement short-course MDR-TB treatments in your country. Tools include a Clinical Implementation Guide, and Q&A for BPaL and BPaL/M implementation, a generic country assessment tool and country action plan that can be used for self-assessment on critical steps toward programmatic implementation, as well as to request support from PeerLINC. Additionally, you’ll be provided with a cost-effectiveness model, critical for understanding of the budget implications related to programmatic implementation of the BPaL/M regimens.
Community Engagement & Advocacy
Resources from WHO, the Stop TB Partnership, PeerLINC, and civil society partners on why and how to effectively and meaningfully engage TB-affected communities and people in the treatment response. Training materials and advocacy resources are likewise available for civil society and affected communities to build their own capacity to support and secure access to the BPaL/M regimens, as well as quality person-centered treatment experiences in their country.
